Main Purpose of Job

The main requirement of the role is to plan work for teams to ensure the effective progression of jobs and the production of daily reports, so each team reaches their performance objectives on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Respond to emergency requests throughout the day and produce daily reports.


The Planner will report to the Planning Team Leader.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Planning and scheduling of works using the client's in house system.
Producing work packs / whereabouts for gangs.
Liaising with the operational supervisors and gangs for the planning of jobs.
Updating internal systems to aid in scheduling, planning and monitoring of jobs, gang performance, KPI's, and payments.
Liaising with councils with regards to proposed works / defects
Dealing with internal / external planning enquiries and arranging appointments.
Answering to customer queries either directly or raised through the client's customer service department.
Monitoring Triple M / Mobile I and processing photographs for work packages.

Other Duties

Set a good example to all employees.
Ensure compliance with all Clancy Group controlled documents, including Clancy procedures.
Be pro-active in developing new systems to meet the changing needs of the department.

Computer literate
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work well in a team
Excellent communication skills
Experience of working within a commercial environment
Utility sector /NSWRA experience desirable
