Our clients are a leading Environmental consultancy currently recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Analyst/Surveyor based in the South East area to undertake Asbestos Analytical and Surveying works.|
As an Analyst/Surveyor you will be required to ensure that all contracts are carried out safely in accordance with all agreed policies, procedures, legislation and guidance, including HSG264 and HSG248.
-A minimum of 1 year full time practical experience on asbestos analytical works including four stage clearances which can be supported by training documentation and audit reports - essential.
-A minimum of 1 year full time practical experience on asbestos surveys as lead surveyor. This experience should cover property sectors including industrial, commercial and domestic and should cover management surveys and refurbishment and demolition surveys -essential.
-Experience in all aspects of survey work including survey planning, resources, technical specification, quality control and ACM assessment criteria - essential.
-Knowledge of asbestos products and also knowledge of building construction, construction methods, fire protection and the various uses of buildings - essential.
-Use of PDA/tablets/computer equipment for the collection of data - essential.
-Willingness to travel, work away from home and work unsocial hours - essential.
-Knowledge of the Asbestos 'Tracker' database - desirable.
-Knowledge of MiCAD database - desirable.
-Knowledge of ACMS database - desirable.

-CSCS Card - Essential
-Confined Spaces Training - Essential
-Full driving licence - held for at least 12 months
