My Client provides high quality traffic and transportation survey data such as Traffic Counts, Public Transport Studies and Journey Time Surveys. A rapidly expanding company with aspirations to grow throughout the UK and Internationally, they are now recruiting for Site Technicians to join their ever growing team.
You will be site based for 70% of your time in differing locations, so there will be a lot of driving involved in carrying out your role. You will be required to install survey equipment using a series of Automated Traffic Counting equipment and high mast CCTV and ANPR technology for temporary roadside surveys.
• FULL TRAINING, TOOLS AND TRANSPORT WILL BE PROVIDED.
Working a rotating shift pattern to include Daytime/Evening/Nights and alternate Weekends during peak times, the ideal candidate will:
•Be responsible for and have a good understanding of H&S for themselves and those affected by the equipment used
•Resolve issues and develop technical solutions whilst on-site
•Ensure timely, accurate, full and robust data collection during live surveys and provide detailed site paperwork to match
•Where necessary deal with the public in a sensitive and professional manner
•Have the confidence to handle power tools and install heavy equipment while working on a live highway
•Be able to understand and follow company procedures, be organised, conscientious, motivated and flexible and also be able to meet deadlines whilst producing high quality work
•Be able to work alone or as part of a team
•Have a basic knowledge of MS Office Packages, Outlook and Excel
•Have a full clean UK Driving Licence
