CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Senior Engineering Supervisor to join the team located in Weybridge, but will cover the West London area. The successful candidate will support CBRE Technical Operations Manager by undertaking both mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance on machines and equipment; as well as responding to emergency break downs as required.|
Engineering ownership of the customer site to include all hard services.
Provide engineering leadership to the multi skilled team to include: motivation, development, training and discipline.
Provide technical leadership for the multi skilled technicians to ensure consistent standards within each discipline
Monitor workload / resources of the team and to make timely recommendations for change.
Ensure all work is carried out as planned and breakdown maintenance, fault finding and installation of engineering equipment and systems is carried out in accordance with site procedure
Data inputted and information retrieved from the CMMS is carried out on time and accurately reflects the work
Engineering Interface for Site Minor Works, workplace, capital projects, compliance, LIS and H&S
Ensuring that the requirement of CBRE and local Health and Safety Policies are fully adhered to by all employees and sub-contractors
Ensuring that all equipment, plant and substances used for any work tasks are in good working condition. This includes, regular maintenance, calibration and inspection of the equipment,
Ensuring that all accident involving personal injury are recorded into the Accident Book or entering the details of all incidents, dangerous occurrences or near misses into the Accident Recording Log.
Ensuring that only suitably qualified and competent persons are allocated to undertake work tasks
Ensuring that the risk assessment system is fully utilised to identify risks and that all work activities are controlled to reduce risks.
To encourage the reporting of near miss accidents and to investigate immediate root cause of all accidents/incidents on site.
Complete Planned Preventative maintenance ensuring that SLAs are met in line with the customer's requirements.
Respond to the requests of the operations by carrying out tasked associated with Breakdowns
Perform any reasonable task as required by their Line Manager.
Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training.
Follow required emergency procedures as documented and to respond accordingly during emergency situations.
To take responsibility for defects and follow up on any repairs.
Host & induct specialist sub contractors, and ensure they confirm to site requirements.
HNC or equivalent trade qualification preferred
Working in Lab environments' and GXP knowledge
Permit to work training
Risk assessment and Method statement training
Lighting system Awareness
