iOS Developer required for a growing and ambitious agency in the City Centre of Manchester, who are really going from strength to strength.|
The go to provider of mobile applications to a whole host of clients, including a variety of household names. Our client are keen for a dedicated Apple professional to join the team and help progress their product offering to current and future clients.
From day one you'll be involved in a range of projects and will be a key player in the team delivering first class mobile solutions to the company's customers. They are looking for someone who is incredibly passionate about all things Apple and driven by the possibilities when it comes to their newer offerings like the Apple Watch, iOS 10 and iPhone 7 (basically an Apple fanboy or girl - and I mean that in the best possible way!).
Although the team has grown substantially over the last couple of years, they are very aware of how important company culture is and they have managed to maintain a real start-up / family feel to the organisation. I really don't see that changing no matter how big they get.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a real Swift / iOS expert. Due to the amount of projects you will be working on and customer expectations, you will really need to be using Swift all the time in your current role / day to day projects.
Without stating the obvious, you'll need to have an in-depth understanding of the App Store, releasing apps, Apple's developer portal and iTunes.
Our client use Git for Source Control however, as long as you're familiar with the concept, other tools are perfectly acceptable.
Any experience of a dependency manager such as Cocoapods would be ideal but is something our client are happy to train you up on if required.
There is a high chance you will be juggling multiple concurrent projects, so time management, organisation and first rate communication skills are all essential for this position.
You will be involved in the requirements gathering stage of some projects and, as a result, you'll have to be comfortable liaising with a host of stakeholders, including: PMs, Account Managers, Clients and of course, the rest of your development colleagues.
Delivering first class mobile applications will be of utmost importance to you.
As you will be in a small, close knit team, you'll be someone who enjoys collaborating, learning, teaching and essentially striving to make you and everyone around you achieve great things.
Our client can arrange a first stage Skype interview pretty quickly, so please don't hesitate to apply if this role sounds ideal for you.
