Our client who is based in the Flintshire area, are one of the largest private drainage maintenance companies in Western Europe. They have provided drainage maintenance services to Water Utilities, Councils, Contractors and Commercial Organisations for over 20 years.
They are looking for an experienced Project Manager, overseeing their local Depot looking after local Drainage Maintenance Contracts. The principle tasks to be undertaken:
Day to day Managing of all operational staff who work at their local Depot.
Maintaining the planning to the Director's requirements.
Ensure Time Tickets, Site Certs, Subcontractors information, materials information, are recorded and stored.
Ensure H & S equipment is available for crews.
Ensure the checking and analysing of timesheets and vehicle breakdowns are undertaken.
Ensure crewing issues are resolved quickly and minimising work lost.
Monitor travel distances and times are justifiable and appropriate to the tasks undertaken.
Carry out Project Manager duties for local clients and contract support, to include quoting and debriefing information to clients.
Undertaking daily performance and operational reports.
Ensure that all vehicles are serviced and maintained in accordance with required schedules and that written records are kept of all maintenance and repairs undertaken to all vehicles and items of plant.
Ensure that all plant inspections and carried out at the required frequency and remedial measures undertaken where necessary and records kept.
Keeping Directors and Deviations Administrator aware of any deviation as required by the deviations reporting guidelines and procedure.
Ideally you will have experience of managing operational staff on a day to day basis.
Experience within the Drainage industry is vital
Experience using Windows (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Excellent communication skills
Deliver continually improved performance in H&S, environment and quality
Implement the appropriate company's policies and procedures
Identify opportunities to maximise turnover
The hours of work are between 07:30 and 17:00, Monday to Friday
