As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be working in an Industrial automated environment as part of a maintenance team, providing PPM, Continuous Improvement maintenance, plus occasional project work for machine improvements and new installations.|
We are looking for the following skills and experience:
An experienced Mechanical Engineer who can bring a wealth of maintenance experience to the team
Ideally you will be apprenticeship trained with experience in an industrial environment
Good understanding and knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics systems would be of benefit
Must be able to work at heights
Must have a flexible approach to working
Work towards achieving system, engineering and personal KPI's
Shift log/incidents analysis.
Support for other members of the team
Support for the Assistant Engineering Team Leader, filling in for his duties as required.
The ideal engineer will be time served or hold a recognised engineering qualification, and have experience within an Industrial environment. You must have a minimum 3 years Mechanical experience within an engineering environment, experience of fault finding, hydraulics, pneumatics, stripping and refitting. Previous experiences of working within a high pressure environment and an understanding of commercial requirements would be highly beneficial.
The role will require you to work proactively and reactively at the site, responding to breakdowns, defining, planning and carrying out Planned & Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in allotted downtime. The role has a large variety of tasks and will suit an individual who enjoys autonomy and responsibility
