Are you looking for your next Project Management role working with innovative rail products?|
Ford & Stanley - the rail recruitment specialists are working with an interesting rail business to appoint a Project Manager who can build strong relationships with clients in a particularly highly regulated area of the industry.
The role of project manager represents a great opportunity for an experienced professional to apply their project related knowledge to product implementation and integration projects. You will find yourself challenged to work on multiple rail projects at any one time, taking them from conception to completion, and will build strong relationships with clients by working to timescale and budget and keeping them updated with project progress reports.
Location: The role would be based out of the company's Bradford-on-Avon office
Role and responsibilities
* Working closely with customers to ensure that projects are delivered in a timely manner and are cost effective
* Compiling project progress and financial reports and representing the company at project review meetings
* Leading project teams for the whole project lifecycle
* Authorising and assessing the release of products to ensure they match requirements and are fully ready for delivery
* Close liaison with sales and marketing teams to make sure projects are handed over effectively
The ideal candidate will already possess project management skills and be able to develop and maintain client relationships as well as manage risk, plans and budgets. You will be comfortable working with MS Project and will also bring with you a positive attitude as you will need to learn about the company's exciting products. As the client operates in a very highly regulated industry, you will need experience of working in rail or a similarly regulated industry (aerospace, oil and gas, nuclear, defence etc.). Knowledge of rail signalling and possession of a relevant IRSE license would be desirable but is not essential.
