Are you a CCTV engineer currently covering the whole of Scotland on a strict call-out rota? How about less travel, say just Edinburgh to Glasgow? How about no call-out?|
There's a company based in England who are looking for an engineer to work around the Glasgow and Edinburgh area. They're not just any old boring security installer; they have been going since 1983 and have secured many major retails sites across the whole of the UK. By the way, most of the work is commercial retail, so the projects will be using high-end CCTV equipment and multiple of them! If you're bored of installing one camera in a corner shop and feel like something a little more lively, this is definitely for you.
Due to the nature of the work, there's no call-out! So more time to spend with the kids...or at the local, whichever you prefer.
The opportunity for overtime is there for those that wish, and is paid double! The option for European travel is also there - don't worry nobody will force you to go, but if you fancy yourself the sightseeing type then why not?
Due to new contracts constantly being won, the company are growing hence the position for this new role (whichs means you're not taking someone's place who left because they hated the job - yipee!)
Oh, did I forget to mention, two people have been promoted in the last month. When was the last time an engineer in your current company get promoted?
Now for the boring bits:
Salary is dependant on experience. You can expect around £22,000-£25,000 for a junior-ish level. If you're a fully-fledged fabulous fault-finding superstar then more like £28,000-£31,000.
Call-out is one in...joking! None!
The position comes with a brand new Ford Van.
