Electrically biased engineer required for a days based role with large food manufacturing company. |
Your new company
Your new company are the leaders in their field by a long shot. They manufacturer a range of food items and have recently introduced some new lines into the business which has further enhanced their standing within their market. They are showing strength with orders moving forward.
Your new role
Whilst you will have some reactive electrical maintenance included on the role the main focus will be to carry out the planned maintenance and keep machinery up and running by pro-actively working with shift engineers, production teams and senior managers. Your main focus is for machinery to be producing at the highest possible levels. This will be achieved by completing the above but also by helping to influence a continuous improvement culture into the business.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will come from a food manufacturing business but as a minimum you will be from another clean room environment such as pharmaceutical or other consumables and be qualified to HNC level. You will be electrically biased but also have good understanding of mechanical processes. You will also be prepared to work the occasional shift to assist in covering holidays and sickness. You should be able to display understanding of continuous improvement activity.
