We have been retained by the owner of a fast growing and established company within the Energy Sector working with numerous blue chip clients. A key part of their development strategy is to supplement the BMS division with key people to allow them to enhance the service offering and assist the business in future growth therefore servicing larger contracts.

They are keen to break the mould by moving away from the traditional BMS approach and establishing new and improved ways of working but still delivering on Client's expectations. Therefore, the candidate should share their vision of wanting to grow within the business and with the view of being part of their long term career plan.

The role being offered is permanent and would consist of a mixture of office and site based work which is dependent upon projects and the requirements involved. The candidate would be required to undertaken onsite commissioning involving new and existing equipment therefore should not be adverse to travel and the possibility of staying away. The candidate would be expected to support the existing team Project Managers with design and technical support where necessary to assist in the project running smoothly and shared learning being established.


• Experience and knowledge of HVAC plant and equipment operation
• Experience of BMS Control Panel design (new and existing panels)
• Production of BMS point schedules
• Production and understanding of BMS software (Trend & Siemens PX) for new projects and modification of existing software
• Site commissioning of BMS through to successful client witnessing and handover
• Site BMS/Energy audits
• Preparation of detailed site survey reports & audits for client submission
• The candidate should be fully Trend & Siemens PX trained as a minimum
• Experience of open protocol systems and awareness of new developments & trends in the market
• A good underlying electrical knowledge
• The ability to understanding the different stages of a project from conception to completion
• A firm understanding of the BMS marketplace in terms of labour costs, material costs
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to use all Microsoft Office packages including Microsoft Outlook as a minimum
• Numeracy skills essential
• Good timekeeping and presentable
• A good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety requirements
• Up to date CSCS Cards and relevant certifications are required and should be in date upon joining the Company
• The ability to demonstrate good communication skills at various levels internal and external
