Electrical Remedial Engineer|
Midlands based - highly mobile
£14 - £15 per hour plus van and overtime
We are recruiting for an electrical remedial engineer to work on a mobile basis on a banking contract for our facilities client. This role is highly mobile and will require out of hours work (evenings, early mornings etc). Overtime is available and a van is provided. The successful candidate will need to be able to pass a credit check and a basic DBS check. This is an ongoing temporary contract.
Main duties will be to undertake electrical remedial works, small installations, projects and other electrical duties across a portfolio of commercial banking properties within a region.
Translation of Fixed Wire Test Reports into electrical remedial work.
To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
Issue of Permits to Work
Role is Electrical Bias so applicants must have:
City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 OR NVQ 2356 / 2357 OR City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation OR AM1 and AM2
City & Guilds 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2008)
Significant previous experience in providing electrical building services to commercial properties including minor installations and project works.
Experience in Fixed Wire Test Reports.
Desirable Qualifications & experience:
Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection Certification
ECS Health & Safety Certification.
Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements.
