As a high-volume manufacturer, our client supplies respiratory drug delivery devices, valves and actuators, injectable devices and medical check valves into major European and US markets. They currently have a requirement for a Moulding Engineer to join their Moulding department. |
Based in King's Lynn, the key purpose of this role is to manage and complete activities associated with procuring, installing and validating injection mould machines and related ancillary equipment tools for new projects and scale-up programmes to agreed time and budget constraints.
You will proactively manage the equipment and validation activities ensuring adequate risk assessments are undertaken and you will provide technical support to all their customers. Additionally, you will proactively manage suppliers to ensure the business is achieving value for money.
The successful candidate will have an HNC, or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or similar subject and will have a good understanding of moulding processes along with a wide range of polymers. You will have project management experience in the procurement and validation of moulding engineering projects for a regulated industry and will have the ability to plan and influence suppliers and customers to ensure objectives are achieved. You will have strong IT skills, and experience of using CAD would be an advantage.
