A well respected and established leader in the manufacture of highly precision machined components for various industry sectors including Aerospace and Medical are currently looking to recruit a skilled CNC Turner.
Having recently moved into their brand new facilities in Isleworth and due to continued growth and reinvestment, there is a new position available for their Turning department.

Job Profile

As the successful CNC Turner, you will experience working in a modern, state of the art facility and be working on a variety of interesting projects.

• Programming, Setting and Operating for the CNC Lathes
• Producing components to batch sizes ranging from ave of 20 off to 200 off
• CADCAM / Offline programming using Alphacam software
• To program and set CNC machines to manufacture precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
• To implement new production methods, using the latest computer technology to improve cost efficiency and ensure continuous improvement
• To be responsible for overseeing apprentices and CNC operators, assisting them in their development as productive operators
• To work according to tight schedules and follow strict quality control and precise guidelines as outlined in ISO 9001:2008 and as per supplier requirements
• Adhere to the Company Health and Safety requirements and follow Company rules and acceptable codes of conduct

Skills and Experience
• Knowledge of programming (Fanuc) for Haas and Okuma machines
• CADCAM / Offline Programming experience ideally with Alphacam software
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
• Working within an ISO 9001:2008 environment
• Proficiency in Computer Programming (CNC) and basic IT systems

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday - Days shift
• Lots of OT available paid at x1.5hrs
