General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for an Intelligence and Operations Analyst to join our team. This position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. Key Responsibilities

Intelligence and Operations Analysts analyze information and intelligence and develop research studies and recommendations pertaining to potential security threats to the work of our clients. These employees also provide intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multilateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility and Areas of Interest. This person will be responsible for handling requirements and collection management and the evaluation of data assessment strategies. Those strategies may include: sampling, statistical analysis, evaluation, flow processing and management assessment. Other duties will include:

  • Research, development and preparation of briefings and analyses which may include narrative, tabular and graphic materials.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to promote information sharing and collaboration.
  • Develop and disseminate standard operating procedures, validation criteria for personnel, entities, components, and Communities of Interest.
  • Interpret Intelligence Community policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and objectives as well as dedicated, centralized, and long-range program and budget expertise.
  • Mine data for unknown linkages in existing information or maintain integrated database tracking systems for controlled correspondence.

Additional Responsibilities will include:
  • Perform end-to-end analysis from initial research to assisting in product dissemination, ensuring compliance with all applicable USSIDs.
  • Liaise with other analytic, collection, and exploitation organization to improve collection capabilities against communications of targets of interest.
  • Coordinate with other Intelligence Community organizations, as appropriate, to develop technical lead or DNI-enabling information.
  • Conduct intra-office collaboration to ensure that collected information is processed and analysis is shared with appropriate analysts.
  • Coordinate with customer team, branch, and division management to identify and solve problems as they occur.
  • Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance our business performance.
  • Respond to requests for information as required with customer team, branch or division leadership approval.
  • Advise and collaborate with other analysts to evaluate data and optimize data usage.
  • Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customer's changing business needs.
  • Support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the General Dynamics Mission Systems' culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Operational needs may require candidate to perform duties during alternate core hours.

Duties must be performed in customer-provided spaces due to the level of collaboration required with customer analysts. There is limited travel with this position.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidates must show a sophisticated understanding of statistical analysis and complex intelligence policies and procedures, and must demonstrate the capacity to successfully support General Dynamics Mission Systems' intelligence operations.

The Intelligence and Operations Analyst position requires a Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Analysis, International Studies, or related field or equivalent work experience, and nine to twelve years of related experience.

The successful candidate must possess:
  • A solid understanding of and experience in SIGINT disciplines of collection, target development, tasking and documentation.
  • Experience with principles and methods of exploiting foreign communications and communication systems to identify, collect, analyze, process, and disseminate information in accordance with established requirements and priorities.
  • A solid foundation in the U.S. SIGINT System, knowledge of information security concepts, and experience with active SIGINT.
  • Current USSID SP0018 training on the legal compliance and minimization procedures.
  • Candidate must possess strong teaming and written oral/communication skills.
  • Candidate must possess a strong understanding of proper information classification guidelines.

TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
