The ideal candidate will have commercial experience within a technical sales and marketing environment and will be able to assist in the development of new innovative approaches to our business development and customer services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small proactive team. This technical estimating and selling role involves developing strong relationships to win repeat and incremental business. You will work closely with your colleagues in our specialist manufacturing department. The role is predominantly office based and the responsibilities are:Reviewing customer enquiries and drawings and preparing quotations for our products and servicesMaintain direct contact with existing and potential customers to gain enquiries, follow up and win new business; growing the monthly sales revenue of the department in line with budgetsMaintaining up-to-date information on customers and sales activityCall based sales The role has good career progression opportunities.
