My client, who is currently undertaking a large complex project is seeing a Delivery Strategy Manager to Lead the development and coordination of the clients Strategy Integration Programme. Working with senior stakeholders both within the company and across the programme, other government bodies, lead the development of the Delivery Strategy and the planning and delivery of a range of supporting strategies and documents to establish and define how they manage and control the business.

2 x Strategy Integration Manager
The Programme and Strategy Directorate (PSD) forms a key part of the overall strategy of the Programme. PSD is responsible for overseeing, integrating and controlling the overall programme, ensuring successful delivery to time, budget and scope. It enables and assures effective programme delivery across the company through the provision of end to end framework services including methodology, lifecycle, tools and processes. The post holder will be part of the PSD Strategy Team responsible for the Delivery Strategy and the delivery of a successful review point programme.
Lead the strategy integration programme to mature and align existing and developing strategies to the Development Agreement and business needs. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure support for and success of the programme.
Develop the prioritised schedule of strategies and supporting documents to ensure individual strategies are available to support the procurement programme and business needs.
Operating within a matrix organisation, collaborate with project delivery, technical, procurement, financial, procurement teams, and others; to prepare the numerous individual sub-strategies necessary to delivery the strategy integration programme to time and to quality, ensuring alignment with the Development Agreement and Delivery Strategy.
Support the Hd of Strategy with the development and maturing of the Delivery Strategy, ensuring alignment with the Development Agreement and Review Point Process
Develop and implement the Stakeholder Management Framework and supporting processes and procedures. As PM for the Stakeholder Relationship Steering Group escalate, through Hd of Strategy, relevant issues and failures to comply.
Nominated deputy to the HD of Strategy. Support the Head of Strategy in Review Point development and assurance, and supporting Business Transformation activities.
Capture, implement and share best practice across the business to drive continuous improvements specifically in strategy development.
Prepare executive level briefs and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
A strong track record of successful delivery in a maturing environment against challenging timescales and developing requirements.
Proven ability of working with subject matter experts to identify the critical business drivers, to balance the various criteria, and to prepare quality strategies and frameworks.
A quality first degree and preferably Chartered or Master’s Degree level with demonstrable experience of operating at senior level within construction, infrastructure or other similarly complex businesses.
Ability to draft under pressure to challenging deadlines producing persuasive and well-constructed briefings and reports.
Extensive relevant experience of operating within large complex engineering projects and success at balancing numerous and sometimes conflicting requirements.
Demonstrable project management experience within a recognised disciplined system and formal project management qualification desirable.
Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage, promote and influence across a range of internal and stakeholders at all levels including executive board level.
Balancing complex and often conflicting criteria to formulate a coherent strategy framework .
