A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a "Data Architect" to join our team in "Charlotte, NC or St Louis, MO".

Position Functions or Responsibilities: Responsibilities:
•Design and Build Oracle Exadata central data Hub and move the legacy applications and data into the Data hub
•Strong data modelling skills - physical and logical model
•Coordinate with other teams for completion of the final end product
•Provide instructions to other developers
•Ensure the quality of the deliverables are at the highest standard
•Track the project progress and report to the management
•Focus on process to improve efficiency, present innovative recommendations and implement resolutions across the team
•Gather and understand internal client reporting requirements and translate into technical implementation and related documentation
•Design and Build the ETL processes for the new environment

Must Have:
•Strong experience working in an enterprise environment with multiple databases and large data at an Architect capacity (7+ years as Architect with 3+ years in Exadata)
•Extensive experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
•Ability to deliver independently and operate under minimal supervision
•Ability to lead the design and JAD sessions
•Experience in building Logical and Physical data models
•Relational database design experience using CASE tools like Oracle Designer or PowerDesigner
•Strong experience working on Performance tunning and optimization
•Comfortable with multiple database concepts, i.e. RDBMS, OODB, ODS, Warehouse
•Work with other developers and the application teams on the design aspects
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Strong client focus and results orientation

•Prior experience working on a similar capacity in building and migrating to large datamarts
•Familiarity in migrating from ODS and DB2 to Oracle datamart

Basic Qualifications: Data Architectiure 5+ Years
Data Modeler 5+ years
Exadata 3 Years
