Our client are recruiting for wind turbines technicians to work in Inverness. Previous Wind Turbine experience is not essential but you need to live locally to the project/or willing to relocate. our client do require a minimum of some experience in mechanical/electrical role.

The Job
Main purpose of role:
A role on behalf of Maintenance and Monitoring Services to join an existing and experienced team of technicians at the Invergordon depot To become a valued member of the team To adhere to existing policies and procedures & WTSR’s, safe system of work To be involved in major component work, as well as scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, fault finding, modifications and improvements. Supporting and reporting to the lead technician, carrying out any delegated duties with diligence Prioritising site-based activity to meet contractual availability and production based targets Ensure company works management systems are accurately used and maintained, including timely close-out of jobs and accurate record keeping
Key tasks:
Assisting the lead technician and team in the Bi annual service programme Pro-active and re-active minded Ensuring SAP and Prism is kept up to date (training will be provided) Weekly vehicle checks and ensuring maintenance schedule adhered to Adhering to work planning instruction provided by the lead technician Develop a strong working relationship with the team Ensuring and contributing to a safe place of work Carrying out client modification and CI improvements to instruction
Your profile:
Preferably educated to NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in mechanical and/or electrical discipline
Previous experience advantageous but not essential, training will be provided Previous experience with the Nordex fleet advantageous but not essential
Practical, hands-on problem solver, flexible, patient
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and able to communicate with staff at all levels within the business IT literate
Well organised, self-motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritise work and meet deliverables and work under time pressure
Will be prepared to travel and stay away overnight, in order to attend sites elsewhere in the business, when required
