About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary
Plans, manages and coordinates the activities of employees assigned to the Maintenance Directorate either directly or through subordinate managers. This position is highly Customer focused and represents URS to Government and vendor representatives. Either directly or through subordinate managers:

Responsible for development and sustainment of a culture of safety, quality, compliance, and professionalism within the Maintenance Directorate,
Provides oversight and direction to the Maintenance Directorate,
Establishes, modifies or directs the establishment or modification of work procedures to ensure schedules are met,
Responsible for keeping Customer representatives apprised of on-going and long-term activities,
Partners with US Government customer,
Responsible for the administration of Company policies,
Directs the implementation of performance management tools by subordinate managers and supervisors.

Minimum Requirements
Requires a Bachelors' degree or 8 years' equivalent experience, and a minimum of 12 years of directly related US Army or Air Force rotary wing aviation maintenance experience, including 6 years of maintenance management experience and experience leading an organization of over 500 staff.

Demonstrated areas of experience must include:

Current working knowledge of US Army or Air Force regulations, requirements, processes and systems for rotary wing maintenance.
Experience in the establishment or modification of processes to support aircraft maintenance.
Experience managing aircraft maintenance workforces of at least 300 staff.
Experience with maintenance oversight of at least one of the following platforms: AH-64D, AH-64E, UH-60A/L, UH-60M, CH-47F, TH-67, UH-72, OH-58, TH-1.
Familiar with AMSS and Aviation Logistics operations.
Familiar with ISO 9001, AS9100 or AS9110 in an aviation sustainment environment.
Familiar with commercial or commercial variant aircraft sustainment.
Ability to handle multiple issues and projects in a changing environment.
Ability to establish priorities in a changing environment.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma preferred.
