About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
AECOM is actively recruiting for a senior-level Acquisition Logistics Manager to support the Submarine Combat and Weapon Control System Program Office (PMS425).
General duties include the supervision, technical management, and overall logistics task oversight of the logistics team supporting the Submarine Combat and Weapon Control System Program Office (PMS425); provide direct support to PMS425 Logistics Branch Head and PMS425 Logistics Manager.
Specific logistics management support duties include the personnel supervision and technical management of the AECOM team providing integrated logistics support services to PMS425; act as hiring manager and train, mentor, and develop the AECOM logistics team members; provide senior-level logistics management services to PMS425.
Specific duties as the AECOM logistics lead in support of the PMS425L logistics team include: direct liaison with the PMS425 Logistics group for development of ILS planning goals, schedules and sustainment strategies for legacy and modernized Combat Control equipment; assist in the review of annual logistics tasking statements/SOWs from vendors and field activities to support development and sustainment of combat control and MC-SABT programs; manage in-service program action items, documentation and lead the weekly meeting with PMS425, ISEA and other supporting activities; assist in the development and update of POM data relative to sustainment/supportability and modernization of PMS425 managed equipment; provide oversight into the development of the BA8 OPN spares budget via the Program Support Data development process; developing performance assessments for logistics services provided by PMS425 vendors; Coordinate activities to support AN/BG-1 Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs) including maintenance of the ILS Plan and IUID Plan; Coordinate with PMS425C7 and PMS425L for the availability of MC-SABT units to support the modernization efforts for SSBN hulls; provide logistics program status for inclusion into various readiness reviews. Participate in bi-weekly ILSWG and coordinate the development of ILS weekly words for PMS425L and ILS input for the AECOM monthly report
Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related job field and at least ten years of job-related experience or equivalent. Candidates without a degree must have a total of 18 years' experience.
An active Government Security Clearance at the SECRET level.
Military service and Submarine experience is a plus.
