Job Overview :
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels is critical to this role. This position will be called upon to evaluate strategic options, develop and implement meaningful methods of financial analysis and be responsible for understanding and analyzing the impact of individual decisions on the overall business. This position will coordinate with other finance and accounting resources to provide meaningful fact-based analysis and reports to drive efficient and effective decision-making.
Job Responsibilities with Daily % of Time Spent :

Analysis - 40-50%
  • Analyze financial performance and compute metrics, determine drivers for the variance between actuals vs. AOP and forecast.
  • Support analytical review to explain trends and variances in the financial statements.
  • Prepare management reporting pack to provide financial metrics on business result with commentary on comparatives.
  • Develop new tools in order to drive scalable analysis and insight.
  • Support running business case studies for future investments as a decision basis for senior sales and executive management.

Reporting - 25-30%
  • Prepare financial and management reports for Functional management and Corporate Finance.
  • Involved in monthly close cycle to monitor and report the financial results to ensure that accounting transaction are accurately recorded in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Perform financial consolidation from each Insight business unit.
  • Monthly financial reporting of financial results, trends and analysis.
  • Responsible for meeting reporting requirements from Corporate Finance (monthly forecasting package and quarterly analytics).

Planning - 15-20%
  • Complete monthly financial forecast according to corporate schedule.
  • Handle data input into Hyperion for all required line items.
  • Perform financial consolidation from each Insight business unit.
  • Prepare analytics to explain for drivers behind the forecast and the underlining assumptions with assessment of risks, opportunities and dependencies.
  • Engage with relevant functional management to ensure sound forecast.
  • Design process and utilize system tools to effectively run the forecast.
  • Support the AOP exercise with data mining, financial simulation and sensitivity analysis.
  • Prepare proactive bottom-up AOP process in order to ensure alignment of business targets with available resources.
  • Support running scenarios and formulating attack plan to achieve the business goals.

Others - 15-20%
  • Handling and supporting internal audits and external auditors where applicable.
  • Other ad hoc requests.

Primary Qualifications (skills, years of experience, education, knowledge, prior achievements, etc)
  • 3 to 5 years relevant work experience
  • Fluent English
  • High level of integrity and ethics
  • BS/BA in Accounting/Finance. CPA/MBA desired.
  • Experience in multinational and relevant sector preferred
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP,
  • Computer literate, good analytical skills with business sense
  • Capable of dealing with management in country and various locations
  • Influencing skills at all levels of the business
  • Excellent communication - written & verbal
  • Excellent business Acumen and judgment and demonstrated ability to work closely and build sustainable business partnerships with Sales & other global functions
  • Confident dealing with matrix management structure
Highly motivational and can work under pressure and tight deadline
