Reporting to: Shift Manager Based: Winsford, Cheshire Schoeller Allibert is looking to recruit a Material Handler for the weekend shift (Friday - Sunday, 7/7 rotating weekly on days and nights) Job Purpose: The purpose of the Material Handler is to control all production related inventory (materials, BOP`s/ WIP) to ensure correct and accurate stock control, material flow in and out of stores and correct allocation to end user via physical/ ERP transactions. Skills/Experience: Experience in a material control position including: Goods In procedures Shop orders (Interpretation of Bill of Materials) JIT preparation and delivery of inventory Stock control and stock taking (Static and PI counting) Written and verbal communication Maintenance of reports (on Local drive or ERP system) Experience working in a dynamic manufacturing / process environment preferable with a background in injection moulding supporting a 24/7 operation An operational knowledge Microsoft Word and Excel FLT licence is essential. Behavioural Skills: Highly motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to continuously improve the way they work Must be professional and confidential in dealing with all employees, and have the ability to deal with difficult situations calmly and objectively Able to work well unsupervised and demonstrate initiative Confident dealing with individuals at all levels in the organisation Ability to change priorities and re-set deadlines to meet the changing needs of the line / department / internal customer Communicates clearly to the level of the audience, checking to ensure that the messages have been received and understood Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with individuals and teams.
