A forward thinking and well established water treatment/water hygiene company that provides expertise in the areas of legionella, water treatment, legionella and other services is actively for the services of an astute and commercially focused Water Treatment/ Hygiene Accounts Manager based in the Midlands and will include applications from Coventry, Birmingham, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas. The individual must come from a strong solid chemical, technical, accounts, sales and management background and must have proven track record working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry. Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene/legionella industry - ACOP - L8. Must have good formal education and will have varied experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer - will have hands on and understanding of steam boilers and process water analysis, etc. Will have good communication, organizational, presentational, people management, leadership and client-facing skills. Purpose of the Role: Managing and maintaining the company's diverse portfolio of existing and new accounts - predominately covering a vast area of the Midlands. Scheduling workloads and inspection and ensuring that the staff - water treatment engineers meet the demands of the customers appropriately and at the same time comply with the L8 and water legislation. Managing team/staff. Preparing quotations. Conducting chemical analysis on steam boilers and cooling towers, interpretation of results, maintenance and installation of chemical dosing systems. Providing technical advice to the company's large and mixed portfolio of clients. Visiting sites and dealing with any issues appropriately. Tending to staff/team and ensuring work is carried out effectively and within time line. Getting involved with the training. Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients/customers. Preparing reports. Managing the business well and taking it to the next step. The successful applicant will be versatile, adaptable and have the aptitude to carry out the work in a professional manner.
