Logistics Coordinator Based Liverpool circa: £25,000 Kendall Poole Consulting are currently recruiting for a large subsidiary of a multi-billion Euro group engaged in producing print products and digital solutions to a wide customer base. To support staff development the Company are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to be an integral part of the warehouse and logistics team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Field Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will be expected to: - Produce and manage dispatch schedules in-line with customer delivery requirements based on production plan - Interact with suppliers and contractors as directed by FLM Logistics Controlling - Be involved in coordination of Third Party supplied inserts/onserts/covers (including consumables) - Create and process dispatch and label documentation associated with schedules. - Have regular interaction with Planning, Production and 3PL provider to ensure schedules are expedited and customer requirements are met - Ensure all associated administration is completed in line with requirements The Logistics Coordinator would create necessary shipping documents in accordance to production and delivery schedules, keeping track of inbound materials and dispatched products. All delivery schedules must be monitored, maintained and updated with regular reports as required. The Logistics Coordinator would use the recently implemented Warehouse Management System to track and validate inventory, working with Planning to ensure production plan meets customer delivery schedule. They would also be expected to have accounting control, checking freight costs invoicing against quotation. Key Skills & Qualifications required: - Must be numerate, IT literate, a good communicator and meticulous to detail - Diploma level qualification desirable - ideally in a business related subject - Lead / role model behaviours and activities, which deliver total customer focus - Active involvement in regular performance reviews, where own performance is appraised - A pro-active approach to training - Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative - In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by immediate manager from time to time - May be required to support meetings both in and out of working hours To apply for this role, please email your CV in confidence to Kelly Hailstone, Kendall Poole Consulting Ltd or call me on Suitable candidates will be contacted within 3 weeks.
