SIT Ltd is a major exporter of gas turbines with more than 3,000 units sold and operating in 88 countries. We are looking for a Shipping Administrator to join our team in Lincoln, whom will be responsible for all shipping administration including arrangingboth Inbound & Outboundshipments . What are the responsibilities? - Taking information from Marketing Support team and agreeing shipment dates, producing and checking shipment reports. - Shipping goods both within the UK and to international destinations based on information received from the internal customers. - Liaising with shipping agents and freight forwarders for collection times. - Liaising with warehouse staff to agree shipment dates and arrange haulage. - Completing Import Clearance Instructions for engines, parts & tooling. - Filing all shipping-related paperwork - Handling internal and external enquiries. - Liaising with customers on all matters regarding documentation and shipping What do I need to qualify for the job? - Previous experience in an import/export environment - Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines - Excellent telephone manner. - You will have a good working knowledge of Inco. terms T1 Forms, T2 Forms, Certificates of Origin, - Knowledge of the processes required to meet dangerous goods regulations for all modes of transport. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally SAP. - An Import and Export qualification is desirable but not necessary. - Good organisational skills and attention to detail are key Siemens has been at the forefront of engineering innovation for over 160 years.
