Role;Process Engineer Location; North Yorkshire Salary; £35,000-£45,000 Department; Process Development Scantec currently have a vacancy for a Process Engineer for a leading medical device/pharmaceutical company within the Yorkshire area. The Role; Responsible for several projects simultaneously - organise, plan and monitor activities Involved in assessing of feasibility, selection and application of proposed initiatives Responsible for developing company standards, requirements and specifications for the use and application of technology Responsible for monitoring, reviewing and analysing data Develops plans to monitor manufacturing process performance in areas of responsibility Responsible for leading processes to maintain departments readiness for audits Provides guidance, technical leadership, and training to junior staff members Lead technical investigations and collaborate with cross functional departments in performing root cause analysis to implement process improvements. Collaborate with various departments ensuring effective process development, validation, change control and process controls Responsible for generating protocols and reports for development trials, validation and material changes. The Candidate; Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Engineering or relevant disciplines is essential Experience in project management, technical assessment and process validation is essential Good understanding of Chemistry is essential Process Excellence qualification or training or knowledge of principles. Minimum of 5 years' experience in medical devices.
