Account Manager / Facilitator Automotive Systems Yorkshire, UK £45,000 plus benefits My client who are currently looking for an Account Manager / Facilitator, are based in the heart of Yorkshire within commutable distance to some of the most beautiful rural areas of the country and are a multinational and recognised leader in the design and manufacture of advanced automotive systems and a valued 1st tier supplier to global automotive car manufacturers, engine manufacturers and major off highway vehicle manufacturers throughout the UK, Europe, North America and the Far East. As the world's leading designer and manufacturer of these products this well-established company now have a requirement for an Account Manager / Facilitator to join their Sales and Program Management team responsible for key European OEM customers. The successful applicant will be responsible for. - Building and supporting the relationship with key strategic OEM customers throughout the UK and mainland Europe. - Developing working relationships with internal departments in the UK and throughout Europe. - Price negotiations and the preparation of cost calculations. - Project and client specific contract terms negotiation with designated clients. - Supporting internal Program Managers and Sales Managers in gaining customer projects. - Dealing with client engineers, internal engineers regarding technical issues. - The preparation of forecasts and long-term planning. - The role will involve occasional foreign business travel. Applications are invited from Account Managers / Facilitators with experience of building and supporting client commercial and technical relationships within an Engineering / Manufacturing environment and preferably from within the Automotive industry sector. The role may also suit somebody with technical / engineering skills who has experience of dealing closely with client engineers and wants to move into account management.
