They strive to develop innovative sustainability solutions in all projects and are looking for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join a team of dynamic, motivated and experienced professionals.
We currently have a fantastic career opportunity for a driven and creative Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a wide variety of projects in a well-established Building Services Design team. The Principal Engineer will guide the team and support junior staff on mostly commercial, residential and educational projects but with opportunities to work in other more varied sectors.
The successful candidate will be technically well rounded and able to lead projects; prepare reports at various stages; manage resources and liaise with clients and external teams to ensure that designs are coordinated and delivered on time and in budget.
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering with Chartered status. You will be able to think outside your specialism and use your excellent knowledge of Building Services Engineering to compliment your excellent Mechanical Design knowledge.
The successful Principal Engineer will be able to integrate multi-disciplinary requirements and expertise in both large diverse teams and small independent groups and analyse the results. Your good planning and organisation, alongside your high motivation and excellent communication skills will allow you to work under pressure, balance engineering priorities and meet strict deadlines.
