Project Support Officer|
Banding: Band 6
Pay Rate: £12 to £15 per hour PAYE or £15.05 to £18 per hour umbrella
Type of role: Temporary
Duration of the role: Temporary 3 to 6 month contract
Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire - although this role is required to travel throughout the geographical areas covered by the Partnership Trust (Staffordshire and Leicestershire).
Purpose of the role:
This post will be responsible intially for the creation of a robust set of monitoring and reorting processes for each element of the project including finalising packages of work and finalising a governance structure with the Programme Manager. The main purpose of this role is to become the 'go-to' person for the programme by installing a project management ethos to the delivery of the transformation work and ensuring visibility of progress to the Programme Manager and other stakeholders within the organisation.
The post holder will be part of the Estates Programe Office which is an exciting initiative taking place within the Partnership Trust to deliver fundamental changes to the way in which services are delivered. This role is pivotal to the successful delivery of the programme, with the post holder responsible for monitoring, coordinating and reporting on all aspects of the Facilities Management and Rationalisation programme workstreams.
Ensure project management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
Assist the Programme Manager and Team Managers in the production and maintenance of project plans
Develop and maintain the project library, filing, recording and reporting systems
Co-ordinate the production of all reports and produce project summary reports
Advise and assist project team members in the application of project procedures , disciplines and recording and reporting standards
Undertake strategic programming, from overall project programme to detailed task scheduling, from inception to operation (where relevant) using experience of change projects and ensuring integration of all programmes and functions during each project phase
Continually review the risk management analysis of the project and ensure that all significant project risks are registered, allocated to owners and that appropriate control measures are in place
Facilitate the common understanding and shared commitments of project team members to deliver and communicate complex, multi-stranded information and provide recommendations
Undertake any other administrative tasks as specified by the Programme Manager
