Salary: National Apprenticeship Minimum Training Allowance for the first year - Salary will increase based upon performance.

Our client is looking for a determined individual who is looking to pursue a 2-3 years apprenticeship in a prosperous company who specialise in Architectural Metalwork. Our clients are specialists in renovating exitisting properties/buildings for both residentail and commercial use.
Your role as an Apprentice Computer Aided Design (CAD) Engineer will involve:
:: Preparing detailed engineering designs for structural metalwork.
:: Producing technical drawings and schedules.
:: Working with clients and contractor partners.
:: Assisting with the development of 3D models to contract design information and deadlines.
:: Utilising various methods of communication as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have:
:: 3 GCSES passes (A-C including Maths, English and a Science - or equivalent qualifications)
:: A genuine passion for design and engineering and willingness to learn new skills
:: Above average computer skills
:: Competent in Word, Excel and Outlook
:: Experience of CAD is not essential as a full training package will be provided
:: A sharp eye for details and problem solving
:: Excellent numerical skills
The successful candidate will receive a full 20 week training programme with our apprenticeship provider, followed by more training with the client. At the end of it all you will receive an ECITB Diploma in Engineering Construction Design and Draughting and a BTEC Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment.
You will be joining a successful and growing company who can offer great career progression and prospects in the future.
Working Week: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
