Site Manager - South London - Immediate Start - Up to £250 a day

An experienced Site Manager is required to oversee the construction of a new build school in Brixton, South London. The scheme is valued at approximately £1m & consists of a small modular new build extension & the refurbishment existing clasrooms. The project is due to commence enabling works at the beginning of October & will complete inSummer 2017. The successful candidate will have experience of managing his own smaller projects (under £1m) or working as part of a team on larger jobs (£5m+). It is essential that the Site Manager has experience of all aspects of the build process from groundworks throught to internal fit out & finishes.

Reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager they will be required to ensure smooth construction process including managing of all site labour and sub-contractors, management of construction programme, minimising/eliminating potential programme delays. The Site Manager will also liaise with the client & associated consultants & be able to chair regular progress meetings.

Relevant qualification and tickets - CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid.
