Are you an experienced Senior Sales / Account Manager with a track record of developing new business in the Telecoms industry?

We provide designed Telecoms, IT, VOIP solutions encompassing connectivity, project management of install and ongoing support and maintenance to hospitality and commercial clients nationwide.

Whilst this is a replacement role we are looking to expand our sales team with our 5 year expansion plan in place and offers ample opportunity to those applicants looking to ramp up their career in an exciting company.

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team working from home / in the field. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, Micron currently employs a team of three field based sales people and three office based sales people and are looking to expand the team in line with ambitious growth objectives over the next 5 years. Micron is currently one of the UK's leading providers of hotel technologies and integrated systems.

The Senior Account Manager will primarily be responsible for bringing new Hospitality clients to Micron for Telephony, IT and WiFi solutions, typically in the large branded and high end boutique marketplace in the UK.

With a solid track record of success selling Hospitality technology solutions, the successful person will quickly acquaint themselves with the Micron portfolio before approaching their existing network of contacts and also new business prospects with a view to securing complete solution sales which will include Voice, Data, WiFi, Network Connectivity and ongoing Maintenance / Support contracts.

*We would also be interested to hear from individuals that may not have previously sold the above solutions however have experience in another aspect of Hospitality technology with integration to some or all of the above.

After a short training / ramp up period, we would expect the successful applicant to be self-generating quotable leads and opportunities within their first 2 months and closing deals within 4 months of starting.

This role will require the successful applicant to work throughout the UK based from home however we would expect them to report in person to our Sherborne Office fortnightly. Training for the role will also take place from our Sherborne office which will require more frequent attendance in the initial weeks.

Additional Salary Information:

£85 - 95k (commision, YE bonus) + car allowance

Essential Criteria:

The ideal person will be:

* Commercially aware and astute
* Professional and credible
* Used to working on large single site and group multi-site tenders
* A dynamic deal closer with proven track record of consistent target achievement
* Someone who likes to work to a consistent sales process
* A refined and skilful objection handler who is able to sell benefits over price
* Resilient and competitive
* Co-operative and endearing
* Accountable and transparent

Desirable Criteria:

Ideally this person will have all of the following experience:

* Knowledge and experience of Hospitality Telephony Solutions (Ideally Mitel and / or NEC)
* Knowledge and experience of Hospitality IT and Network solutions (Ideally HP and Cisco)
* Knowledge and experience of Hospitality WiFi solutions (Ideally Cisco and Ruckus

However we are open to those with other aspect of hospitality experience if have not sold the above solutions.
