A Change Manager is required for 6 months (likely to be extended) based near Heathrow.

Our client are undergoing a major transformation. The purpose of this role is to shape, lead and implement the change management approach for this Transformation Programme to allow IT to meet its objectives through increased adoption of changes, the development of new cultures and behaviours; and through building the capabilities required for the proposed new organisation. This role will act as the champion for Group IT and collaborate with internal and external partners.

Day to day duties -

Developing and supporting new culture and behaviours within Group IT and embedding new ways of working in the new organisation will be a core responsibility of this role. As a leader within the team, this role will provide leadership, coaching and development to change managers within Group IT across any initiatives within the transformation programme. It will also provide leadership and guidance to change managers within the operating companies.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

* Build strong relationships with internal & external partners and senior level stakeholders, to inform and influence stakeholders as necessary to improve the probability of success of the transformation programme
* Coach stakeholders on their role within the programme and ensure they are aligned to the vision, values and behaviour of Global Services

Change Management

* Put in place sufficient measures and change enablers to embed new culture and ways of working into the business over the longer term
* Interact effectively with the target audience to obtain buy-in on difficult issues that evoke an emotion response in order to negotiate a way forward
* Establish the change management approach within Group IT, including all tools, templates and methodologies and the hiring and development of change resources

Change Leadership
* Create a culture of empowerment within Group IT and the wider organisation to ensure leaders are equipped with the skills and tools to navigate change
* Through change management interventions and stakeholder engagement, build commitment to achieve the necessary changes in the organisation

People management
* Exercise clear and effective matrix management of the programme team members required to support any change management activities and develop a team centric culture
* Motivate and encourage team members and change agents through coaching, empowerment and confidence building
* Assist in issue resolution and encourage co-operation among teams with conflicting goals and objectives

Organisational Design
* Develop a consistent and methodical impact assessment and role mapping process to be used on all transformation programmes to assess the AS IS and the proposed TO BE organisational design
* Assess the current resources and end state functional requirements to recommend a proposed end state structure, including FTE requirements, to be progressed for approval and implementation by the resourcing team
* Ensure the key accountabilities of current and future roles are clearly tracked throughout the transition process ensure stakeholders remain aligned on the end state model
* Implement change management strategies with the impacted teams and leaders to ensure the new operating model for the functional groups can be implemented with minimal compromise

Required Skills and Experience

* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of change consultants supporting various initiatives
* Ability to operate as a senior and integral member of the Group IT Transformation Programme team
* Proven experience of managing people, process and/or system change on a large scale and across several markets
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills, particularly with business partners at various levels of management within the organisation
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish credibility for professional input at all levels of the organisation
* Able to operate effective in an environment with tight deadlines, finite resource and uncertainty.
* Excellent facilitation skills at both large and small groups, including senior executive levels
* Sponsorship and stakeholder management skills - especially across a diverse geographic region and at multiple levels
* Experience in diagnosis, design, implementation and development of change interventions to enhance team effectiveness
* Change management qualification e.g. Prosci certification or similar
* Experience working with ADKAR Framework, CAP or similar
* Educated to degree level or equivalent level qualification or can demonstrate considerable experience of working in a similar role
* Track record of leading the change agenda for large transformation programmes
* Experience of working in an environment of change involving people, process, policy and technology

This role is to start asap and will pay up to £530 per day (Ltd/Umbrella)
