Polkadotfrog are offering a great opportunity to join a dynamic company working in a small but cutting edge environment near Bar Hill. In this role you will be a key member of a new application development team, sitting besides a established web and software team you will have the opportunity to make a major contribution to the company and build a team around you in this new role within the business. You will support the development and maintenance of the company's digital presence continue the development of two apps previously developed in-house as well as work on new cross-platform mobile applications using C# and Xamarin (Xamarin can be trained and certifications offered).

The role will include development on two existing apps, one Xamarin Forms Bluetooth based and one Xamarin Native IoT based. The Android development is being conducted by another site but shall still require support and guidance. The candidate will be liaising with the global offices, completing new feature development / bug fixes, compiling apps, publishing to the app store, limited testing, etc.

Skills & Experience

• Knowledge desktop / web applications
• Experience of C# in a commercial environment
• Comfortable working with Nuget, Visual Studio, Git, ReSharper, SQL and external REST APIs
• Familiar with multi-threaded environments (async/await, TCS), Linq, PCLs, ORM and JSON
• Some experience with Xamarin (Xamarin Studio, NA, Mono) would be preferable, although full training will be provided and this is NOT essential
