ENGIE are recruiting for a Resident Gas / Mechanical Engineer to be based in Speke, Liverpool. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary. The role holder will report to the Service Manager.

We are currently recruiting for a Resident refrigeration/Air-conditioning Engineer to provide the necessary specialist engineering support to Head Office facility's in Speke Liverpool. This is a full time permanent position where the salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.

Main Responsibilities / Duties Include

- Carry out all PPM tasks in accordance with the annual PPM Planner, and notify any repairs as necessary
- To be available to respond & repair any reactive calls rose through the onsite Helpdesk
- Ensure all record keeping functions are completed on a daily basis
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of workmanship and safety
- Ensure that any difficulties encountered on engineering activities are reported to the Engineering Supervisor /Manager as per escalation procedure
- On reasonable request be available to work overtime to accommodate the sites requirements.

The scope of equipment to be worked on will include but not be limited to the following

- Air Handling Units
- Boilers
- Pumps
- Water Heaters
- Pressurisation units
- Building management system
- Control system
- General Plumbing and Building Maintenance


- Experience within a similar role/environment is essential
- Computer literate with good skills in word, excel, email, internet etc
- Able to work on own initiative
- Good knowledge of SHEQ procedures, risk assessments, work permits etc
- Recognised EITB or CITB apprenticeship or other similar approved training or further education qualifications - Minimum NVQ3 or equivalent in relevant discipline
- ACS Commercial and Domestic Gas Qualifications - CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 CKR1, CPA1, DAH1, COCN1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1
- Unvented HW systems
- 17th Edition (desirable)
- IPAF Qualification
