Electronic Engineer urgently required for exciting opportunity with my client, a rapidly expanding Gaming Technology Company. As an expanding global business my client design and manufacture innovative gaming controllers and PC and consoles.

As Electronics Engineer you will be responsible for designing components for fundamentally new products, product line extensions, factory support and modification of current products.

Primary Responsibilities of Electronics Engineer:
• Perform electronic design activates as directed
• Support legacy products in terms of failure analysis, yields and obsolescence
• Prepare design documents to describe the designed components sufficient to procure or manufacture
• Compile and perform tests on designed components & systems
• Conduct reviews of new product designs
• Perform failure analysis of products and generate reports
• Provide information to generate PO's for prototype parts
• Work with Manufacturing/Operations to resolve issues or incorporate improvements related to product design

Requirements of the Electronics Engineer:
• Bachelor`s Degree from an accredited academic institution in Electronic Engineering field or equivalent
• 5+ years of design experience
Proficient in Altium Designer (Schematic capture, PCB layout and generation of BoMs)
• Flexi rigid PCBs
• Embedded Firmware experience (CSR and Freescale preferred)
• Bluetooth experience desirable but non-essential
• Understanding of plastic injection moulds desirable but non-essential

Key Skills of the Electronics Engineer:
• Able to troubleshoot problems
• Capable of directing and reviewing the technical activities of production staff
• Capable of managing projects with regard to performance, schedule and cost goals
• Ability to read, analyse, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations, also adapt to company standards regulations
• Ability to work effectively & cooperatively in a team environment
• Capable of handling complex design assignments without technical oversight
• Exhibits creativity and initiative
• CE marking and FCC radio compliance
