Our clients have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Specialist to join their growing team in Coleshill. The Quality Specialist will oversee and control the company's quality management system. To oversee and manage the quality strategy of the organisation to facilitate continuous improvement of products consistent with the established industry standards and customer requirements. To promote 'Right First Time' philosophy. Assure the effective implementation, maturity assessment and improvement of all processes along the entire value chain to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment across the local business.

* Promote the company's quality policy statement
* Provide quality interface and expertise between the company and its customers to proactively identify and anticipate their needs and expectations to ensure that they are understood and satisfied
* Monitor, maintain and improve the current quality management system and ensure continuous improvement in all areas
* Ensure compliance with the quality procedures company-wide
* Develop and implement a Quality organisational structure capable of supporting the strategic initiatives of local plant and regional quality and lead the efforts to integrate the quality needs in to the development of short and long term improvement plans
* Develop, analyse and publish statistical data and process/product specification to determine standards and proposed quality and reliability requirements for the finished product
* Provide expertise in Quality Assurance and process improvement tools/methods
* Support the management of performance and provide development opportunities to all within the team
* Represent the company on all quality related issues
* Responsible for the effectiveness and efficient running of the Quality Department
* Ensuring the Quality Management System conforms to the latest ISO9001 standard - including acting as the company's representative
* Produce test certificates as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Engineering qualification
* Understanding of ISO procedures
* Understanding of Total Quality Management
* A demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance and continuous improvement methods
* Proven experience of Lean Manufacturing including Six Sigma methodology (Black Belt level)
* Auditing qualification
