Senior Civil Engineer - Water|

Our client is a leading international consultancy, offering multi-disciplinary engineering, planning and environmental services to clients both in the UK and globally.
Their reputation spans over a century and they are known for engineering excellence in the water and transportation sectors.
Their Water and Utilities team is involved in some of the UK's most complex and technically demanding projects. They are currently working closely with the Environment Agency and a number of the UK's utilities companies, undertaking a vast array of projects to enhance the UK's water infrastructure.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join their Water team based in Croydon, delivering design solutions for clean and waste water networks and/or clean and waste water treatment works.
The Senior Engineer will play a key role within the team, providing leadership, and technical advice.
You will manage selected projects (or parts of projects) ensuring they meet budgetary, quality and timeframe targets.
You'll work in collaboration with other disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design
You'll take responsibility for resource allocation, design, subcontractor management, quality assurance and client feedback.
You'll build and maintain effective relationships with clients on projects
Skills and experience required:
* Relevant engineering or associated degree
* Chartered Engineer Professional status i.e. MICE or working towards Chartership
* Water industry design experience, including clean and waste water networks and/or clean and waste water treatment works
* Design and build experience working closely with Contractors.
* Experience in managing the commercial aspects projects
* Good motivation, influencing and people management skills
