Responsible for defining and creating Operating and Controlling Procedures.
Implementing significant process changes
Day to day support of Operations on process requirements.
Create FMEA and Control Plans for the specific process
Leading and manage the process trials associated with new NPI programs.
Create Technical reports for a certain process.
Ensuring appropriate data collection and data review procedures are in place.
Identify and lead business / process improvement projects
Part of the Community of Practice and Technology Road Map Teams.
Supporting the Operator training requirements.
Responsible for Data Card updates.
Support laboratory for analysis on process issues and new materials.
Create and improve tooling design and implementation specific to the process.
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience of working within an Engineering field, preferably Aerospace
Thermal Spray, Coating, PVD, Laser Systems, EDM and Furnace Programming experience would be advantageous
Lean manufacturing, operational excellence and modern manufacturing management processes.
Strong knowledge of exotic Alloys (Titanium, Nickel, Cobalt).
Strong ability to lead projects and train others.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
