As Quality Engineer you will be responsible for internal auditing, analysing quality data to identify areas of improvement, dealing with any customer / non conformance issues, and identifying any training needs. Perform and document internal audits and other quality assurance activities. Evaluate audit findings, recommend and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Manage quality-related documentation.
Collect, compile and analyze statistical quality data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
Coordinate and investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, working in close collaboration with other departments.
Identify training needs, develop training materials and deliver trainings as needed.
Manage and update personnel certification system.
Keep the Approved Vendor list up-to-date, perform external supplier audits as required.
Implement new or updated processes, systems, and procedures in the field of quality assurance
Demonstrated quality, auditing and testing experience in aerospace and/or high-precision metal machining industry required, with a good understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilities
Experience in quality management systems (AS9100, ISO9001, etc.) required
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships
Good analytical and problem solving skills, able to analyse complex / technical data
Enthusiastic, proactive attitude with energy, drive and perseverance
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement
General knowledge of aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, Nadcap, etc.) is desirable
Proficiency with MS Office, databases
