Fantastic opportunity with a Global manufacturer of Aerospace components.
Educated to Degree level with a proven track record in managing multi-skilled teams in a busy, high pressure, engineering environment.
Experience in Aerospace or a technical engineered product environment is required.
Ability to demonstrate experience of driving a continuous improvement culture with a strong background in world-class manufacturing.
Strong team management skills, able to motivate and lead by example while ensuring all team members perform to the best of their ability in line with company expectations.
Able to demonstrate progression and key achievements in career to date, specifically with regards to team management, production targets, OEE and process improvements.
Confident manager and team player, with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels and challenge management and staff where appropriate. Experience of collaborative working with trade unions will be a distinct advantage.
Results driven with a strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to delivering business solutions.

Drive accountability for H&S through the team, ensuring the culture of the team embraces H&S, and there is strong compliance with H&S policies and systems

Contribute to the manufacturing strategy and plan for the site ensuring short and long term plans are in place for process development, equipment, people and systems.
