Leading Automotive Manufacturer
You will champion, lead and support the quality improvement initiatives and you will be a member of a team of production and R&D managers who drive the performance and development of the Company. This will include being responsible for ensuring that the special customer requirements are known in the processes and by means of audits and inspections you will control its implementation.
Job Description
  • QMS management representative for the site. Ensure compliance to customer, regulatory and business requirements, providing guidance and support
  • Manage, promote and retain all applicable accreditation ISO9001/TS16949 in line with other business requirements
  • Manage standard practices for site supplier quality processes and maintain effective auditing of critical suppliers
  • Develop, monitor and maintain site Quality metrics (including customer satisfaction).
  • Drive site product and process quality improvement using function appropriate tools (e.g. CAPA, audit etc.)
  • Manage external/internal site audit processes
  • Ensure Quality participation and provide quality input for business reviews
  • Ensure Quality team involvement in applicable product planning and manufacturing release processes
  • Ensure management and control of non-conforming material/product process
  • Ensure site compliance to applicable QMS documentation and communication of QMS effectiveness
  • Site Quality champion for dealing/resolving customer complaints with corrective action plans
  • Lead and develop your team and the individuals within the team through effective coaching, Mentoring, leadership and communication, setting an example to employees across the business
Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Engineering/Quality or Equivalent industry experience
  • Must have management experience in ISO9001/ TS16949
  • Internal auditor ISO9001/TS16949
  • Considerable experience in working with customers, suppliers
  • Clear succinct communicator both written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively communicate cross functionally
  • Ability to problem solves
  • Must be able to positively influence the site& Team ensuring compliance is maintained
  • Build good working relationships
