A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a Jr. Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team in Harrisburg, PA.

Position Functions or Responsibilities: The Help Desk Analyst has a background in help desk services, particularly in an application support services environment. They have experience in working closely with end-users in support of the operational system and in anticipation and new system implementations. The Help Desk Analyst is customer and quality focused, to ensure a positive end-user experience for all support engagements.

Specific Responsibilities:

Help Desk Analyst will:
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical assistance to users of a web application
  • Respond, analyze, and resolve questions received via phone and email accurately and in a timely manner
    Document all user related correspondence thoroughly in a web application
    Maintain ownership of issues until a solution is provided
  • Learn application functionality quickly through various learning methods including instructor led courses, self paced on-line courses, and review of emails and documents
    Work well in a team atmosphere with minimal oversight
  • Adhere to a structured work schedule (start/end, break, and lunch times)
    Maintain a reasonable level of productivity as evidenced by percentage of time in "ready status" versus time spend in after call work, number of calls taken and various other help-desk metrics Participate in user acceptance testing

Basic Qualifications: Required Skills:
  • One year experience in help desk or call center environment, including application support
  • Two years' experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
This is a full-time salaried position with a group company within NTT DATA. Please note, 1099 or corp-2-corp contractors will NOT be considered.
