A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a Technical Lead to join our team in Quantico, VA.
Position Functions or Responsibilities: Project Description : This client develops and operates an enterprise-wide training system for its entire organization. The enterprise-wide training system is comprised of a number of commercial and custom build components integrated together to provide to meet its mission needs. The client develops the custom components, integrates the various components together, and performs the necessary operations support to manage the system on a day-to-day basis. The client requires contractor staff to augment its development and operations team and provide particular skills in order to perform specific development and operations tasks such as project management, help desk, documentation, customer support, course/training development, applications development, database development/administration, systems analysis, etc.
Role : The Technical Lead is responsible for leading the technical teams in the development, installation, configuration and ongoing operations and maintenance of the client's Learning Management System (LMS). The Technical Lead will be experienced in leading a development team in the design and implementation of a portal integrating the workflow, knowledge management, issue tracking and reporting technologies. Candidate should have experience managing multiple work streams and overseeing development and QA Test activities.
• Lead the development of process mappings and priorities and functional designs based on business requirements • Interface with hosted database solutions and execute analytical projects • Design data interfaces between clients, vendors, and other third party data aggregators • Evaluate alternative business process and technology solutions, and participate in making technology recommendations to enhance business operations • Execute test and measurement plans to identify successful output and opportunities for improvement • Identify testing objectives and test script inventory • Facilitate client involvement in User Acceptance Testing • Provide recommendations for technology business requirements • Facilitate client visits and lead the design and development of project implementations • Initiate and manage project logs (Risks, Issues, Decisions, Change Control) • Responsible for identifying and coordinating resolution of all technical and business issues
• Must have fully adjudicated/active Top Secret security clearance • Must have a bachelor degree • Must have a minimum of five (5) years as a Technical Lead • Must have a minimum of three (3) years as a Technical Lead on Agile IT projects
• Relevant training or certifications such as PMS, ITILv3, Agile and/or DEVOPS • Masters degree in IT, Project/Program Management • Experience with educational course development or instructional design
This is a full-time salaried position with a group company within NTT DATA. Please note, 1099 or corp-2-corp contractors will NOT be considered.
