Job Description:

MANDATE/PURPOSE The marketing and leasing manager supervises and coordinates the activities of the leasing and marketing departments across the Patry portfolio in order to ensure maximum occupancy. KEY FUNCTIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY 1. Leasing 2. Marketing 3. Strategic Planning 4. Online Content and Social Media Management SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Leasing - Work to ensure that all policies, procedures and standards relating to leasing and marketing are followed - Responsible for the development, management and execution of leasing campaigns for the Patry Inc. portfolio - Ensure that leasing staff places customer needs, requests and follow-up as a number one priority 2. Marketing - Cooperate with the community and residents in order to manage reputation - Provide recommendations to the Property Manager in order to improve overall experience for residents and guests - Maintain positive and professional relationships with residents - Create marketing collaterals including brochures, product sheets and sales literature - Curate and manage print and online advertising and e-blast campaigns 3. Strategic Planning - Create annual marketing plan and budget - Expected to provide strategic recommendations based on data and trends in the market - Implement the annual marketing plan with the assistance of the Property Manager - Continually evaluate the marketing plan and budget based on leasing progress and resident and staff feedback - Plan and manage Property specific and corporate events 4. Online Content and Social Media Management - Manage online marketing assets including website and online property portfolios - Develop social media strategy and implementation plans - Manage social media assets including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Knowledge - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in a PC environment and Mac environment - Familiarity with Adobe products in a PC or Mac environment Skills and Abilities - An engaging, enthusiastic and pleasant personality with a professional demeanor - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Ability and willingness to multitask and manage multiple priorities - Ability to work independently and as a team - Strong time management skills - Self-motivated, goal oriented and detail oriented EDUCATION - University degree considered an asset EXPIERENCE - 3-5 years' experience as a senior member of a marketing team, ideally in the Student Housing industry KEY DIMENSIONS AND WORKING CONDITIONS - Regular working conditions with the chance of irregular hours based on business needs - Stress levels moderate to high - Time pressures and deadlines - May require some travel - Requires long periods of sitting - At times multiple sites
