KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Executive Director/Head of Infrastructure, the Toronto based Senior Portfolio Manager, Infrastructure will be a member of the infrastructure team responsible for international deal origination and execution, ongoing asset management, and client fundraising support. Specific objectives Work closely with the Head of Infrastructure in sourcing deal opportunities in Europe and North AmericaLead and support deal execution through the entire due diligence process, including financial modelling, consultant management, financial and technical review, industry research, legal documentation, NA lead and support asset management responsibility for select portfolio investments, including board of director responsibilitiesPresent and defend credit recommendations to Senior Management (including CEO, CIO, COO), as well as relevant co-investorsBuild, establish and maintain relationships with infrastructure industry participantsSupervise and mentor junior infrastructure staff, with an emphasis on financial modelling and deal executionProvide necessary support and participate in institutional investor documentation and presentations, with an emphasis on client interactions in QuebecParticipate in relevant industry conferences PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge and understanding of structuring infrastructure transactions from a debt and equity perspective, with direct global and multi-sector experienceDirect experience in Infrastructure asset management, particularly in an "open-ended" infrastructure fund with previous responsibilities and knowledge of 3rd party valuation execution and monitoring would be considered an assetIn-depth knowledge of legal, accounting, taxation, and institutional investor issues as it pertains to global infrastructure investing and fund raisingExcellent analytical ability with strong written and oral communication skillsClient focused and detail oriented, with a proven record of completing tasks with high-quality results, multi-tasking and ability to function in a fast-paced team environment KEY CHARACTERISTICS · Quantitative with excellent verbal and written communication skills · Team orientated with strong interpersonal skills · Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately · Dedication to high quality and accuracy with attention to details EDUCATION Undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or Real Estate. Chartered Financial Analyst designation strongly preferred.
