Job purpose
The Performance Manager will oversee the Skills Support for Redudancy (SSR) provision across West Yorkshire. The Performance Manager will be responsible for driving business objectives specifically in relation to the management of the SSR profiles and ensuring all performance is maximised to its potential.

The Performance Manager will manage a team of tutors and career coaches as well as working closely with our Quality Team to ensure all training is to a high standard in accordance with SSR legislation.

The Salary Banding for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 including mileage and expenses .

Knowledge skills & experience
We are looking for focused, motivating and supporting candidates with the ability to effectively manage a successful team. You will have the passion, drive and enthusiasm in making a positive impact to push the business forward with new and innovative ideas whilst ensuring customers are fully engaged during their SSR journey. You will need to demonstrate the following:
  • Previous Operational Management experience
  • Proven leadership skills and experience of managing high performing team(s)
  • Experience target setting and target management
  • Competitive and results driven
  • A strong financial and commercial awareness and understanding of Profit and Loss accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong Stakeholder Management
  • IT Literate predominately in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Previous management experience of funded programmes within the Welfare to Work Sector or other Government Funded programmes
  • A working knowledge of current funded programmes and local labour market trends
  • Level 3 qualification in management
  • Experience of participation in continuous improvement activities
