I am working with a specialist manufacturer and installer of window coverings. Focusing on commercial projects their work can be refurbishment or new build.|
In the role of project manager you will have responsibility for managing the works and completion of projects, this will involve taking the order through to sign off. The role requires a high level of detail whilst delivering an excellent service to the client, managing the supply chain, installation teams and the financial budget.
•Developing and completing a design with the sales team (where appropriate)
•Attending customer's pre-start meeting
•Carry out site survey, or working with the Surveying Manager
•Liaising with clients/site managers/project managers over timing/installation/fixing details/other trade interfaces including electrical, AV and construction trades
•Understanding and planning for the project timing
•Procurement of made to measure products to budget, or inside budget (with potential bonus structure)
•Managing project cashflow, raising invoices, ensuring defects are rectified swiftly.
•Booking installation with subcontract labour teams and client
•Management of installation including RAMS, site visits and installer management as appropriate with occasional weekend/evening supervision/on call for site operatives as required.
•Project sign off including project financial report review, O&M information.
To be successful it is essential that you have strong PC skills - Microsoft office packages, excel is key. Clear and professional communication. A background of a client facing role.
Ideally you will have knowledge of the construction, interior or fit out sectors, be driven and looking to work in a varied and ever changing role.
