Senior Planning Consultant - Durham - £50,000-£60,000|
My client is an established property consultancy, working on a range of planning applications from an Energy, Environmental, Residential and Commercial background. They are actively seeking a Senior Planning Consultant to support the company on planning matters with a view to working towards Director level within the next 2 years.
Based in Durham, the Senior Planning Consultant will join a firm with an excellent reputation as one of the North East's most professional and coveted property consultancies. They work regularly with a number of blue-chip clients and have a number of offices worldwide. The Senior Planning consultant will be expected to hold full MRTPI membership and have a minimum of 5 years 'hands-on' planning experience.
As a Senior Planning Consultant, you will work on a range on planning issues including S106 agreements, public consultations, Conservation and listed building work. You will act as a mentor to the junior members of the team, supporting them on their planning work and journey towards MRTPI status. The Senior Planning Consultant will act as one of the company's key contacts with clients as you will be expected to play a key role within business development and building your own client portfolio.
